FATHOM™ Steerable Guidewires

FATHOM™ Steerable Guidewires

The Fathom Steerable Guidewires feature a nitinol hypotube distal segment combined with advanced microfabrication technology, resulting in a groundbreaking design that enhances access to even the most tortuous peripheral vasculature.

Taking Fathom to New Lengths:
The Fathom Steerable Guidewire integrates a nitinol hypotube distal segment with advanced proprietary microfabrication technology, introducing a guidewire design that significantly improves access to complex peripheral vascular beds. Available in both 0.016″ and 0.014″ diameters, with lengths ranging from 140 cm to the new 300 cm Fathom-14 Guidewire.

Angled Tip and Radial Lengths:
Specifically designed for radial access procedures, Fathom-16 is available in both 200 and 215 cm lengths. Both Fathom-16 and Fathom-14 offer a pre-shaped tip, facilitating access to challenging anatomy.

Turn-for-Turn Torque Control:
Utilizing a diamond-cut nitinol hypotube, Fathom ensures precise turn-for-turn torque control, enhancing responsiveness and manoeuvrability. A lubricious coating on the distal segment and PTFE coating on the stainless steel segment aid in guidewire placement and catheter tracking.
Enhanced Visualization, Tip Shapeability, and Flexibility: The platinum-tungsten shapeable distal tip allows for accurate placement while maintaining tip shape memory. Variable stiffness along the wire length balances flexibility without compromising rail support.

Precise Steerability:
Fathom Steerable Guidewire offers precise steerability, thanks to advanced microfabrication technology, ensuring optimal navigation during procedures.
